President's Welcome

Hello, and welcome to the Linn Benton NAACP Branch! 

Established in 1971 by Dr. Cal Henry, our Branch is dedicated to advancing racial justice and equity across Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, Philomath, and the surrounding region.

As President of the Branch, I am honored to be working with our members, community partners, and civic leaders to fight racial bigotry and advocate for our marginalized neighbors here in the Willamette Valley. Our Branch takes pride in our civic engagement, as well as political advocacy.

If you are a life-long activist, or you are just starting to dip into the waters of fighting for justice, we want you to join us in creating positive change through our committees, volunteer opportunities, and community initiatives. 

Together, we can and will build the equitable society we all deserve.
